A phrase “Hello world!” is usually used by a programmer as a welcome message when learning new programming language. And here it is, I am using this phrase to re-welcome my blog. Although the phrase “Hello world!” in the title is pre-written by WordPress. I keep the title as-is, to re-welcome me to actively writing to my Blog. So, here we go…
I was using WordPress to write my blog since I was in university, about 15 years ago. I was using it to write a random thing about my life. When a social media appeared, I switched to micro-blogging myself on Facebook and Twitter (now X) on 2014 to 2019 and leaved my blog empty. Untouched. Spammed by bot-comments. I closed down my blog on wordpress.com on 2018. I made all my contents as drafts. Unpublished.
Since then, I never write anything, especially after I am to bored to expose myself on microblogging platform.
I was thinking along about a month long, that I need to be existed. Cogito, ergo sum, I exist because I am thinking. I am thinking when I am writing. I should publish myself.
publica aut pere – publish or perish
Therefore, I re-installed WordPress on my domain again. WordPress is blog platform what I am familiar with since 15 years ago. This domain is also purchased for 10 years since I plan it becomes my email’s identity. So, instead I am just using it for email, why not I am using it to publish myself.
I also need journaling myself.
I was thinking that I have done alot within past years, achieving many things. But without it is written down, I am perish.
I am also inspired by pak Suprawoto, former Regent of Magetan, former Secretary General of KOMINFO. He actively writes his thought and opinion on local newspaper for decades. When I was 25 and on my 2 years joining KOMINFO as public servant, he mentioned that every weeks, he submit his opinion to local newspaper. There was one time he forgot to submit and the editor called him, asked him whether he is OK or sick.
Thinking of tagline, I am using Alan Kay’s quote “simple things should be simple complex things should be possible“. I was use this tagline on my signature email, since 2 decades ago when I was a university student. It sticks to my head since I read a book about Linux administration. Simplicity is the best and elegant thing in the world, but complexity can teach us anything.
So, that is it for the prologue. I plan to journaling myself everyday. Every morning or afternoon I will journaling anything. Books. Journeys. Jobs. Thoughts. Tips. Experiences. AND others. I will write in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Bahasa Banjar. It is also my new resolution 2025, having on at least 365 posts on my Blog.
Enjoy!
